If my genetics can get along
Why can't we?


<sub>Some of you may not get the comparisons of these statements. So Miss History Teacher here will give brief explanations:

1 & 2) Oliver Cromwell waged genocide against Irish Catholics. By many, the man has been compared to Hitler. I am his direct descendant. Furthermore, some of my family fled to America from Ireland to get away from this genocide. Over time his descendants married their descendants, and here I am.

3&4) Huguenots were French protestants that were persecuted by the Catholic church. In St. Batholomew's Day's Massacre, thousands of Huguenots were killed in Paris by Catholics. Let's just say, the two groups didn't get along...

5&6) Americans should get that, but for non-Americans, this has to do with the Civil War. I had people who fought on both sides. However, I will say that I have yet to find anyone who owned slaves. We were poor I suppose *le sigh* (Not that slavery is good, I'm against it, but it's a sure sign of the poverty of a Southerner to not own a slave)

7&8) Obviously, outlaws are bad, and the Texas Rangers were the men to hunt them down. LOL. And as I have spouted out before, I'm related to John Wesley Hardin. Pew pew! I shoot you! I also have several Texas Rangers in the family tree, so I won't bore you with a list. Let's just say if I ever feel an OK Corral style shoot out in the blood stream, I know what's happening. Pew pew!

9&10) Well duh. Many Americans can say this one, right?</sub>



And that's that people. Seriously, all these groups HATED each other at one point and time. The years passed, people moved on.
Think of that group of people you HATE. Guess what? 50, 100 years from now, your children and their children are going to meet and fall in love and have babies. And there isn't a darn thing you can do about it. SUCKA!
